Bristol Half Marathon

This will be the first Team Helen Hodgkins Trust sponsored run!
The Bristol Half Marathon 2015.

After many individual sponsored runs, for the first time we now have a whole team of people running together on behalf of the Helen Hodgkins Trust. Many thanks to all those who have volunteered to run and raise money for the trust. Our fabulous volunteers are below. Please support them by donating here or clicking on the online sponsorship form at the foot of this page and choosing the person you'd like to sponsor.

Emma Hodgkins

The founder is leading the team.
Quite literally.
Can anyone catch her?

Malcolm Rhodes

Mal lives in Brighton and is a regular runner, having completed many races up to a half marathon in length. He skis a bit too.

Rakel Rhodes

Rakel also lives in Brighton but hails from Flekkefjord in Norway. Rakel has completed many half marathons, and inspired Mal to take up running.

Jack Robinson

"I've been inspired by Emma's contributions and dedication to fundraising for clean water in Africa. She has motivated me to run my 1st half marathon and raise money for a truly worthy cause".

John Dancer

I met Emma during her Kilimanjaro expedition in September 2014. During the trip I learned a great deal about the Trust and the work they're doing in Ghana. In Africa I saw first hand the need for safe, clean water. I am supporting the Trust by running the Bristol Half Marathon for the team. I am new to running but I’ve found having a cause to run for has inspired me in my training and motivated me to raise awareness and funding.

Matt Eves

Why? To support a good cause and make a difference, whilst getting fit (hopefully).
Training - drinking beer and chasing children around during their summer holidays.
Time - 2hr 15mins (if my training goes same way as last time) PB is 1hr 42 but I'm not going to be that fast

To sponsor one of our runners or the whole team, please click here. Please state who you are supporting in the run in the Reason for Donation box.
