Volunteering in Ghana

Volunteering in Ghana for the first time was the most humbling experience of my life. Everyone is aware of the poverty in Africa. We see it on the TV, we read about it in the papers, we hear about it through charities. It was only when I experienced it first hand that it truly got through to me and within two months of this experience, I was able to make a difference to more than 400 people, many of them children.

With just three emails home and the support of my dad back in the UK, I was able to raise over £1,000.00. This gave me the funds to help Porche, Kofe and more than 100 other children by paying for a year of life saving medical insurance. We were also able to buy two further water filters to purify water for over 300 people for up to 12 years.

The generosity of people at home was incredible. With their donations we made a difference to so many lives. It amazed me that with so little money you can make such a difference to so many people.

Please help us change and save lives in Africa. Donate now, every penny counts. £1.50 to insure a child for a year, £50.00 for a small water filter (for a family), £250.00 for a large water filter (for an entire village).

Your donation can be big or small, but we promise it will reach those who need it the most. You can make a difference. You can save and change lives in Africa.
