Ghanaian Café at Westwood with Iford School

Westwood with Iford pupils are once again fundraising for our cause.

Rebecca Robertson, a support teacher and fan of the trust, sent us this message and images from the event.

"We put on another Ghana Café which was held last Tuesday in school.

We sold a variety of cakes using Ghanaian flavours - orange, coconut, banana, chocolate and vanilla. We also made choc chip cookies and pineapple and watermelon kebabs, plus fruit drinks."

The total raised from the Ghanaian cafe was £72.

The school has been supporting us for a few years now and have raised hundreds of pounds for us and the pupils have also taken part in a hands-on demonstration with our water filters.

Thanks to the wonderful relationship we have now gained with Westwood with Iford school, the Headmaster has very kindly said that he would like the school to donate a further water filter.

A huge thank you to all the pupils and teachers at Westwood with Iford school for continuing to support us and helping us to give the gift of clean water.
