Ghana Visit 2018 - Mission Completed!
Our intrepid HHT team have returned from their visit to Ghana having successfully completed a number of in-progress projects, renewed medical insurance for some of the schools we support and identified a number of new projects for us to work on.
Led by Trustee Martin Fawley, volunteers Paul Hawes, Yasmin Meyrick and Lesley Southern visited numerous communities and we are happy to report that we:
Officially opened our new borehole in Gyaekasa
Worked on completing our new borehole and water tower in Kyereban
Repaired a borehole in Nkyenkyenen
Renewed the medical insurance for the children at Mangoase
Identified new projects in the communities of Obo, Asasefufuom and Kojonkanse
Strengthened relationships with our partners SVG and Kicking Off, and the community leaders
The communities of Gyaekasa and Kyereban have never had access to clean water and seeing the delight on the faces of the community, especially the children, were really special moments. We also delivered school uniforms to all of the children in Gyaekasa along with school supplies and ladies clothes.
We are so proud of our team and thank them for all their efforts over the last two weeks. But we couldn’t do the work we do without your support and thank all of our kind donors for their contributions over the last year. Congratulations team HHT!
