Michael Law and founder Emma Hodgkins successfully completed the first part of their Triple Triathlon Challenge for the Trust - the Big T triathlon in Trowbridge.
So the first of Michael's challenges has been done.
The biggest challenge of all for Michael was learning to swim.
At the beginning of the year he couldn't swim more than 25m, so to have completed the 400m swim was a huge achievement.
So far Michael has raised over £1,000 with his amazing fundraising efforts.
We really can't thank everyone enough for supporting him and being so generous with your donations.
"So, after the daunting task of completing my first triathlon I am so proud that I did it, not only did I manage to do my best swim time since starting to swim again but also did a very good time with my run, I'm very much looking forward to my 2nd one in July.
Thank you all for your support and generous donations, it means everything to me and the Helen Hodgkins Trust."
Michael's next triathlon is on the 2nd of July, please do continue to support him and give him the encouragement he needs to keep up the ongoing training and strength to get through the next event.
Well done Michael. You are a Helen Hodgkins Trust hero.
