With our time spent in Ghana we visited the schools that are already receiving our life saving medical insurance.
The results are amazing.
Schools are better attended than ever as not only do children get education, they now receive medical care.
Attendance is much higher as their health is much better, meaning these communities will be better educated in the future.
On this trip we identified even more schools in need.
We are hoping that with the help of Fred and Rebeca and the support of the local NHIS (National Heath Insurance Service) we will be able to insure even more schools in need.
Nothing is straight forward when working in Ghana and sadly the schools most in need are schools that are in remote areas, making it hard to get to (and quite often not having electricity) making it very difficult for the NHIS to be able to get to them and issue their insurance cards.
Our relationships have grown with our partners in Ghana and together we will keep striving to tackle these issue and try to keep helping these schools most in need.
