Founder Emma Hodgkins completes the Berlin Marathon

Our founder completed the Berlin marathon!!!!

It was our second international event and Emma had a team of supporters cheering her on.
The event was wonderful, so well supported and we raised so much.

A million thank-yous to everyone who sponsored Emma.
Your generosity has helped us to raise over £3,000 and with Gift Aid this gives us over £3,500 - we really can't thank you enough.

The money raised will build our 4th sustainable water project, giving thousands of people clean water.

Emma ran in memory of a friend who sadly passed away last month.
This water tower will be built in memory of Nick Woodward. His life will live on saving and changing lives in Africa.

Emma would like to personally thank everyone for supporting her. It was a very tough run as she was injured and she said:

"I don't think I could have completed the marathon if it wasn't for my fan club that came along and helped me to the finish line; the sponsorship that has be generously given; the people cheering me on at home and the knowledge that this would give thousands of people clean water in memory of a friend who had so much strength.
Thank you so much."

Nick Woodward, the water tower will be built in your memory:
