Shutford lent appeal

Every year, Shutford church parish selects a charity to raise funds for throughout lent.
This year we were fortunate enough to be the selected charity.
The idea of the lent appeal is to empty your change into a jar or charity box before you have your dinner, thinking about how lucky we are and how our pennies can help so many people less fortunate than ourselves.

Thank you so much to Ken Jeffs for organising and pulling together all of the donations. This year’s lent appeal raised £420.
Thanks to everyone in Shutford who supported the Helen Hodgkins Trust and donated.
With the funds raised, we are able to give 800 people clean water or 400 children life-saving medical care.
Thank you so much.
