The Twenedurase borehole is completed.
Once we'd received the pipes, centraliser and cylinder from Accra we were able to begin work on this borehole.
A full day was spent dismantling the existing borehole, taking out the old rusted pipes and cylinder then putting it back together. We have now used stainless steel pipes and cylinders to give this borehole longevity (as it doesn't rust) and put centralisers onto the inner pipe to prevent scratching.
This project cost £420.
Now this community of over 1,000 people are receiving clean, accessible water for the first time in so many years thanks to your fundraising and donations.
As people passed by I was met with a thousand thank-yous.
"God bless you madam, thank you, thank you, thank you."
